Professional Services

In our 40+ years we’ve cored everywhere from glaciers, jungles and deserts to high elevation and Arctic permafrost. Some of our references include:

Barge drilling on the arctic ocean with large tides at regular intervals, high elevations in the Chilean Andes, ultra-deep overburden with multiple strings of casing, deep open water and frozen lake coring with multiple strings of casing, high lift/multiple staged pump waterlines, low temperature permafrost, 90%+ recovery through soft, unconsolidated sulphides, kimberlite and other difficult drilling formations.

We are also very experienced with many types of geotechnical drilling, core orientation, downhole installations and testing that include:

Triple tube coring, ACTII, DeviCore, TruCore, extensometers, wells, slope indicators, overburden recovery, nitrogen packers, hydraulic packers, hydrogeological work including high volume and pressure “jacking”, and multiple styles of directional drilling.

Success is always attainable and our varied experience gives us the confidence to take on any job, anywhere, under all conditions.

Rig Maintenance

We take pride in our equipment. We have a preventative maintenance program that is performed and documented weekly. All defective ancillary equipment and tooling have a tag in/tag out procedure to ensure the safety of our crews and the production our clients demand.

We also provide adequate spare parts to eliminate down time from suppliers. Every part is either replaced or refurbished before heading into the field.

Drilling

With our combined 40 years experience we guarantee the best possible core recovery in the industry. This is the finished product we stamp our name on. We know how important this is to our clients. We specialize in NQ and HQ sizes.

We have two D6 bulldozers used for clearing pads, building roads, and moving our equipment around. They are both equipped with ROPS, enclosed cab, 6-way blade and a mounted winch.

Safety and Environment

Every piece of equipment is self-contained to avoid any negative impact on the environment. Safety programs are in place, along with proper certification and adequate training to provide a safe and efficient work environment.

We take safety seriously and it starts at our shop headquarters in Quesnel, BC. Whether our equipment and personnel are headed home or out to your job site we maintain a strict safety protocol that is documented and submitted to both our safety coordinator and to you, our client.
